Lagrima (Tarrega)

This is the Lagrima Lessons page. The first video is a performance of the piece in it’s entirety, followed by the video lessons. There are links to the tabs of this song as well as to the sheet music/tab documents I make of all the pieces. When posting questions/comments, please mention which video your question is about. Enjoy!

Hints on LAGRIMA:
I perform this piece in Tempo Rubato, meaning I speed up or slow down the tempo to better capture the way I wish to interpret the piece. When first beginning to learn any piece, I suggest you do it in the tempo that is written. This piece is ideal for beginners to get their feet wet on a “serious” yet attainable piece of music. A lot of fundamentals are worked on in this piece. This piece is also good to work on your right hand rest/freestroke technique. There are some tough bars in the piece, but then again, if you’re new to bars, all bars are tough! Also, some people may have questions about how I wrote down the tablature and the sheet music/tab. I have a seperate article entitled “Reading my tabs/sheet music” in the “Editorial” section that explains how to read them.
